The construction plan has the Islands' new trailbuilding squad tackling basic core paths on easy terrain first, then moving to Blue Grade mountainbike trails and finally to Red Grade sections on bedrock and steeper slopes. This will ensure that the trailbuilding knowledge and experience needed to produce top quality singletrack is established before starting the tricky enthusiast trails. This approach also means that new riders will be learning their bike handling skills in the right order.
